We are seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to join our Product team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, report creation, and analytics, with proven proficiency in Power BI and related tools. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards and reports, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. You will also optimize performance, manage data models, and stay updated with the latest features in Power BI to enhance reporting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Power BI reports.
• Optimize Power BI performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Create and manage data models to support reporting needs.
• Integrate Power BI with other data visualization tools or systems when required.
• Stay updated with the latest features and advancements in Power BI to improve reporting capabilities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Power BI development and report creation (2-4 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Power BI performance issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other BI tools like Tableau or QlikView.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS for data integration.
• Understanding of Python or R for advanced data analysis.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to create custom visuals in Power BI.
• Experience with APIs and data integration techniques.
• Strong understanding of business processes and KPIs relevant to the industry.
